Each player is dealt out a total of five cards. The rest of the cards are piled up and placed at the center. The topmost card is dealt face up and placed next to the deck.
In your hand, if you have any matches place them down. In your turn, if you have a card in your hand that matches the topmost card of the discard pile, you can discard that card. The next card will decide the rank of the card. This second card will become the topmost card of the pile.
If you don’t have a card that matches the topmost card in the discard pile, draw a card from the deck and place it facing upwards on the discard pile.
If you have a card the same as the newly drawn topmost card, you may place it on the discard pile along with a second card to determine the rank of the card to be played by your opponent. However, if you do not have a matching card, the next player gets to play his/her turn.
The game continues in the same manner until one of the players gets rid of all the cards. The one who gets rid of all their cards first wins the game.
